Applications are invited from teachers of all subject areas including the following key subject areas; Irish, French, German, Maths, Business, Art, Home Economics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and PE for inclusion on a panel of substitute teachers for the following schools in Longford and Westmeath for the 2023 / 2024 academic year:-

Ardscoil Phádraig Granard,  Athlone Community College, Ballymahon Vocational School, Castlepollard Community College, Columba College, Killucan, Lanesboro Community College, Mullingar Community College and Templemichael College Longford.

Qualifications, Salary, Scale and conditions of service are in accordance with the regulations of the Department of Education. For persons entering a recruitment grade for the first time, starting pay will be at the minimum of the new reduced scale. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Canvassing by or on behalf of the applicant will disqualify. Vacancies are subject to the post not being required for the Department of Education Redeployment process.
